LinkedIn SEO is all about making your profile as public as possible. The better the SEO, the more awareness people will have about your brand. Unfortunately, some people have actually mistakenly (or purposefully) disabled public visibility on their accounts. You need to make sure that this isn't the case with your profile. Otherwise, people won't be able to see your profile, let alone Google.


What happens if Google or other search engines cannot index your profile? You don't show up on search engine results pages! In other words, remind yourself to make your profile public!


3. Build a Keyword-Rich Profile


In any SEO effort, keywords play a vital role in connecting a user's search with what the website or, in this case, the LinkedIn profile is all about. For that reason, you need to conduct keyword research to identify which keywords are commonly used by users to look for competitors similar to yours. In doing so, you can utilize the same keywords in your profile, enabling your profile to be seen when people are looking for offerings that you have to give. 


On that note, if there is one thing you must never do, it is something called keyword stuffing. It'll only leave your profile looking unprofessional, and it will cause search engines to flag your profile for overusing keywords and hide your profile from search results.
